October 05, 2007 - Within one week after the launch of the first publicly available Beta version UpdateStar received very positive reviews from various sources, although its database is still in 'learning mode' trying to catch up with all the update information we receive from our newly created UpdateStar user base. So far UpdateStar has been downloaded about 15.000 times from our servers.

Some of the reviews include snapfiles.com complimenting UpdateStar as "a very promising product", and getting an instant Popularity tag from the users at SnapFiles. VNU UK, publisher of the computer magazines such as PC Magazine and Computeractive, commends UpdateStar as an "excellent application" that will enable you to check for and install updates for applications installed on your system" and gives UpdateStar a very good rating. Thanks to all the early adopters out there downloading, testing and sending all the feedback to the UpdateStar team! Please be a little patient, if not all of your software setup is recognized yet. The database gets updated several times a day and the team is working hard on implementing your user generated update information send to us.
